SV	En David legde [bezetting] in Syrie van Damaskus, alzo dat de Syriers Davids knechten werden, geschenken brengende. En de HEERE behoedde David overal, waar hij heenging.
WLC	וַיָּ֤שֶׂם דָּוִיד֙ בַּאֲרַ֣ם דַּרְמֶ֔שֶׂק וַיְהִ֤י אֲרָם֙ לְדָוִ֔יד עֲבָדִ֖ים נֹשְׂאֵ֣י מִנְחָ֑ה וַיֹּ֤ושַׁע יְהוָה֙ לְדָוִ֔יד בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
Trans.	wayyāśem dāwîḏ ba’ăram darəmeśeq wayəhî ’ărām ləḏāwîḏ ‘ăḇāḏîm nōśə’ê minəḥâ wayywōš^a‘ JHWH ləḏāwîḏ bəḵōl ’ăšer hālāḵə:

AC	ו וישם דויד בארם דרמשק ויהי ארם לדויד עבדים נשאי מנחה ויושע יהוה לדויד בכל אשר הלך
ASV	Then David put [garrisons] in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought tribute. And Jehovah gave victory to David whithersoever he went.
BE	Then David put armed forces in Damascus, and the Aramaeans became his servants and gave him offerings. And the Lord made David overcome wherever he went.
